FUNDING ELIBIBILITY

Most Federal and State agencies use available data to determine eligibility for funding. This information is made available for places that are officially defined by the Bureau of the Census as either districts or Census incorporated and designated places. These, in turn, can be subdivided into smaller units of tracts, block groups and, finally blocks. This level of analysis may be necessary when considering individual projects.
